FUNCTIONAL NEUROLOGICAL DISORDER RESEARCH STUDIES & CLINICAL TRIALS

Functional Neurological Disorder research participant joining study registry

Let's speed up research into FND

Our mission is to connect people with functional neurological disorder with opportunities to participate in research. Join our research participant registry to help move FND research forward.

What is FND Research Connect?

Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) research studies and clinical trials are essential for improving diagnosis and treatment of the condition. FND Research Connect is a research registry that connects people with FND, people in remission from FND, and healthy volunteers to opportunities to participate in research.

Many FND research studies rely on participants to better understand how symptoms develop and resolve. Clinical trials and observational studies help researchers identify new effective treatments and improve care for people with FND.

FND Research Connect is constantly on the lookout for new FND studies. After joining, we will notify you any time a study you might be interested in participating in opens. This way, we can match potential study participants with studies, so that everyone can contribute to advancing research in FND.

Who Should Sign Up?

Everybody who cares about functional neurological disorder can help FND research. Research on FND can’t be done without people with functional neurological disorder. People who have had FND and are in remission give us valuable insights into what is different in the brain of someone susceptible to FND while they don’t have symptoms. People who have never had FND are important as controls in studies. Everyone can help us understand FND better.

How it Works

1. Sign up for the FND Research Connect registry
2. Provide basic information about your health and background
3. Get matched with FND research studies or clinical trials
4. Choose whether to participate in studies as they are released
