Event-Related Potentials in People with Functional Movement Disorder Before and After Aerobic Exercise and Yoga

We are excited to be able to share a new study based at Colombia University, New York, USA, investigating how the brainwaves (EEG signals) of people with FND and how they change with exercise.

The study is being performed in person at Teacher’s College, Colombia University. Information from the research team is provided below. Participants will be paid $100 for their time. Key details are: We are seeking people with Functional Movement Disorder to participate in a study evaluating yoga and aerobic exercise at the level of the brain. If you enroll, you will participate in two, in-person sessions at Teachers College during which you will complete an EEG recording session and either yoga or moderate-intensity aerobic exercise. Upon completion of the study you will receive $100.
